*Drosera amazonica* is a sundew species native to northern Brazil, notable for its small, semi-erect rosette of leaves atop a short stem.

Morphology

The plant forms a small rosette of semi-erect leaves on a short, unbranched stem up to 10–14 cm long. Each leaf has a distinct petiole, 5–10 mm long and 1–3 mm wide, which tapers toward the lamina. The lamina itself is spoon-shaped to egg-shaped, measuring 2.5–5 mm long and 1–3 mm wide.
