A sundew endemic to the north of Western Australia, *Drosera barrettiorum* is notable for its association with the Kimberley region and its description within the comprehensive 2014 and 2017 works on Australian carnivorous flora.

North of Western Australia, specifically the Kimberley region.
History & etymology
Described by Allen Lowrie in 2014. The species is named in honor of brothers Russell and Matthew Barrett, who first discovered it near their home in the Kimberley region. It was originally published as *barrettorum* but was corrected to *barrettiorum* in 2017.
