A perennial tuberous sundew, *Drosera erythrorhiza* is notable for its rosette growth habit and its distinctive, many-flowered cymose inflorescences, which can bear up to 50 individual flowers.

Morphology
The species grows in a rosette and is distinguished by its many-flowered cymose inflorescences with up to 50 individual flowers. Subspecies can vary in leaf shape and size, with *subsp. magna* having larger leaves and frequently more of them, while *subsp. erythrorhiza* has fewer, wider leaves.
Distribution & habitat
Endemic to Western Australia.
History & etymology
First described by John Lindley in 1839 in his publication A sketch of the vegetation of the Swan River Colony. Later, N. G. Marchant and Allen Lowrie described three new subspecies in 1992.
