This pygmy sundew, *Drosera scorpioides*, is notable for its relatively large size among its congeners, with rosettes reaching up to two inches in diameter. It is a beautiful, long-lived plant, capable of thriving in various coastal and swampy environments.

Morphology

The rosettes can measure up to two inches in diameter, and the specimens may attain a height of up to 100 millimeters (approximately 3.9 inches). The flowers are pink and white.

Distribution & habitat

Native to the Jarrah Forest region and southern coasts of Southwest Australia.

Ecology

The species is found on white sand and clay, near swamps, on sand ridges, and is associated with laterite.
