About

A notable perennial tuberous species, *Drosera zigzagia* is easily identified by its small, solitary carnivorous leaves arranged along a distinctive zigzag stem. It is endemic to Western Australia and often found growing near other local flora like *D. salina* and *Stylidium insensitivum*.

Morphology

The species produces small, solitary carnivorous leaves that alternate along a zigzag stem, which can reach heights of 5–7 cm (2.0–2.8 in). It also bears yellow flowers on inflorescences containing 4–9 flowers.

Distribution & habitat

Endemic to Western Australia, it is found on the margins of salt lakes in brown sandy loam.
