A diminutive tropical pitcher plant, *Nepenthes batik* is endemic to the montane forests of Peninsular Malaysia, specifically found on two peaks in Fraser's Hill.

Montane forest in Peninsular Malaysia, specifically on two peaks in Fraser's Hill, Pahang, at altitudes of 1,300–1,500 metres (4,300–4,900 ft).

History & etymology

The specific epithet is derived from the Indonesian dyeing method of batik.
