Native to Bukidnon Province, Mindanao, Philippines, specifically recorded as an epiphyte at 770 m altitude.
History & etymology
The specific epithet cid honors F. Cid of the University of the Philippines herbarium, who collected the type specimen in 1952.
Conservation
Critically Endangered, due to its sole population consisting of only two individuals in an area facing extensive habitat conversion and commercial logging.
