This widespread tropical species, *Nepenthes graciliflora*, is notable for being one of the most geographically widespread *Nepenthes* species in the Philippines, having been restored to species status in 2013.

Morphology
The species is characterized by morphological traits shared with the 'N. alata group,' including winged petioles, lids with basal ridges on the lower surface (often elaborated into appendages), and upper pitchers that are usually broadest near the base.
Distribution & habitat
Endemic to the Philippines, found on the islands of Bohol, Leyte, Luzon, Mindanao, Mindoro, Panay, Samar, and Sibuyan. It typically grows in mossy, submontane forest at altitudes ranging from 800–1,280 metres (3,000–4,000 ft), though specimens have been recorded at lower elevations.
History & etymology
Long considered a synonym of *N. alata*, it was restored as a separate species in 2013 by Martin Cheek and Matthew Jebb.
