*Nepenthes pervillei* is notable as the sole pitcher plant endemic to the Seychelles, specifically found on the islands of Mahé and Silhouette. It is also recognized for its unique seed morphology, which led to its temporary placement in the genus *Anurosperma*.

Distribution & habitat
Endemic to the Seychelles, specifically the islands of Mahé and Silhouette, growing in rocky areas near granitic mountain summits at an altitudinal range of 350–750 m above sea level.
Ecology
The pitchers have been found to harbor the mite *Creutzeria seychellensis*.
History & etymology
Originally described as *Nepenthes pervillei* in 1852. It was later placed in the genus *Anurosperma* due to its seeds lacking the 'tails' characteristic of other *Nepenthes*, though modern databases have subsumed *Anurosperma* back into *Nepenthes*.
