A terrestrial lithophytic species notable for its endemic status to Doi Inthanon National Park in northern Thailand. *Utricularia inthanonensis* is closely related to *U. garrettii* but can be distinguished by differences in its corolla, seed, and bladder morphology.

Distribution & habitat
Endemic to Doi Inthanon National Park in northern Thailand, growing on moist granite rocks at altitudes around 1,650 m (5,413 ft).
History & etymology
Formally described in 2010 by Piyakaset Suksathan and John Adrian Naicker Parnell, based on collections made by Suksathan in 2005 and 2007.
